    We upgraded to an AP at the park on our recent trip to WDW. Will I receive an email or welcome packet or anything? I see the AP in my disney experience account and app. How do I customize our new bands and are they different from our current ones?

    Hi Deborah,

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and CONGRATULATIONS on joining the Annual Passholder family! You're going to LOVE having the ability to visit the most magical place on earth whenever you'd like, plus you're now eligible for a wide variety of fabulous benefits and discounts!

    Yes, you should be receiving a welcome packet in the mail soon with information about the Annual Passholder program...and a special gift. You will be eligible for new MagicBands, too, and should see those listed in your My Disney Experience account under MagicBands and Cards. Once you personalize them, you'll receive them just a few weeks later. They'll be the same style of MagicBand available for free to Guests of Disney Resort hotels, but they will come with special Annual Passholder sliders. The great news is that you'll be able to use any MagicBand that's listed as "active" in your account and still has battery life remaining (they're estimated to last around two years), so feel free to try a new color! I sometimes like to bring multiple MagicBands with me so that I can choose different ones on different days.

    And Deborah, if for some reason you don't see the new MagicBands in your account or don't receive your packet, you may reach a friendly Cast Member who specializes in Annual Passes at (407) 560-7277.
