How do I upgrade my weekday pass to weekends , mine expires in August , is March . Do they prorate ? Is there a only-weekend pass option? Thanks

    Hi Denny,

Welcome to planDisney! I am so excited that you are getting so much out of being a Disney Annual Passholder that you want to upgrade to one that allows you to visit even more.

You have two options when upgrading from the Disney Pixie Dust Pass that you currently have. There is a Disney Pirate Pass which will add weekends but still has Blockout Dates during peak season and holidays. There is also the Disney Sorcerer Pass which gives you even more dates to visit with the only Blockout Dates being during the holiday season at the end of December. I recommend checking out the availability calendar to figure out which option is best for you.

Once you have chosen the right option for your visiting style, all you need to do is go to the My Disney Experience App for your upgrade. Once you are in the app click on Tickets and Passes, make sure your pass is visible, and click the Upgrade Pass option below it. This will take you directly to the site where you can upgrade and pay for your new pass and begin enjoying more days at Disney World immediately! When you upgrade your pass, you will be charged the difference between your old pass and the new one. Rates are not prorated and you will be charged the total difference between your current pass and the upgraded pass. If you have any issues during the process, contact V.I.Passholder Support and they will be able to assist.

    Happy Planning
