Hi Alison! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One of the reasons we felt comfortable becoming Disney Vacation Club Members is the flexibility of the Points System. There are many ways to make the vacation of your dreams come true! Currently, you cannot simply pay an upgrade fee on a room booked with Vacation Points. If you are already booked with Vacation Points in a Deluxe Studio and would prefer a 1 Bedroom Villa, you do have a few options, as long as there are 1 Bedroom Villas available during the time you wish to stay. First, you could borrow Vacation Points from your next Use Year, to use this year. Especially if you know that next year you will need a smaller room, or will be traveling at a quieter time and will need less Vacation Points, this might be the easiest solution. If you prefer not to borrow too much from next year, you can purchase up to 24 one-time-use Vacation Points from Member Services. You can also do this in conjunction with borrowing points from next year to give you even more flexibility. Your third option would involve booking a split-stay. You could use your points to book a 1 Bedroom Villa for as many days as you have Vacation Points available. You would then have a second, cash reservation for the remaining days of your vacation. I would recommend you call Member Services to discuss these various options, check availability and decide which option will work best for your specific situation. I hope this helps to answer your question, Alison. Please let us know what other questions we can help with. We love helping our fellow Members! Wishing you Membership Magic! - Kate
