Lightning Lane passes to bypass standby queues during your vacation.
I understand that you are hoping to upgrade your Lightning Lane purchase from Multi Pass to
Premier Pass so that you are able to enjoy all of the attractions and experiences that offer Lightning Lane entrances within a single theme park at your leisure. Because Lightning Lane Premier Pass is a newer offering, I reached out to a Cast Member with your question. She shared that, unfortunately, because Lightning Lane passes are nonrefundable and Single Pass, Multi Pass, and Premier Pass are all separate purchases, it is not possible to upgrade or downgrade a Lightning Lane purchase to a different type of pass.
Since I'm sure this is not what you were hoping to hear, she also helpfully passed along the following options:
- If you are planning to park hop, you could purchase Premier Pass in addition to Multi Pass and use them in separate theme parks.
- While it is not guaranteed, you could reach out directly to a Cast Member either by phone, website chat, or upon arrival to see if an exception might be made and they could assist you with the process. Please keep in mind that there is no guarantee your request will be accommodated, but in my experience, it never hurts to ask.
