Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Kasidi. Hooray! I'm so glad to hear that you want to upgrade your husband's
Magic Key pass. I'm all for adding even more magic, so let's dive into the details.
The newly introduced Explore Key is a great way to enjoy even more magical days at the park over the summer. You can
upgrade your pass to any higher level pass that is currently available for purchase. You'll be required to pay the difference in price between the two passes at the time of purchase and it looks like the difference between the Enchant Pass and the Explore Pass is $25 (subject to change).
Upgrading is easier than saying, "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." Open the
Disneyland app and tap the "☰" to open the menu. Next, tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile and select the “Upgrade Magic Key” button under the pass that you'd like to upgrade. When upgrading, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The expiration date of your upgraded pass will not change. You will retain the same expiration date of your previous pass. Any theme park reservations that you had with your previous pass may not carry over and you will need to make new theme park reservations.
Now that we have all that out of the way, it's time to start planning for summer fun at the Disneyland Resort. The
70th Celebration is still underway and there's so much to enjoy. My favorite part of the celebration (hands down) has been the return of the Paint the Night parade. If you haven't already, be sure to add this to your list of things to do. And check out these
