Hello Walter! Thanks for coming to the Moms Panel with your question.
I recently had a very similar situation. I had already purchased an 8 day ticket along with
Memory Maker before deciding I would like to upgrade my ticket to an Annual Pass. I was able to have the cost of the Memory Maker refunded and applied to the cost of the
Annual Pass at
Guest Relations. Although Memory Maker is generally a nonrefundable purchase, since
Photo Pass downloads are included as a Passholder benefit, this was done as a courtesy. Walter, if you have not already purchased Memory Maker, I would hold off as there is really no benefit to purchasing it prior to upgrading to the Annual Pass. As the stated policy is Memory Maker is a nonrefundable purchase, the refund is not guaranteed and may be up to the discretion of Guest Relations.
I felt the cost to upgrade my pass was well worth it. The
dining and merchandise discounts alone made up for the added cost. The additional
perks and benefits are icing on the cake. Don't forget to keep your eye out for the exclusive Annual Passholder tapstyles at the entrance to each Theme Park.
