Hi Alyssa!
Welcome to planDisney! Having the opportunity to experience the Walt Disney World theme parks several times a year is what motivated me to become an
Annual Passholder. Being able to head down to enjoy the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts,
EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival, or the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival motivates me to renew my AP year after year!
Alyssa, you can
upgrade your Annual Pass at renewal. Once you receive the email alerting you that it is time to renew, you can log into your
My Disney Experience Account, and select your new AP level. Unfortunately, Guests wishing to upgrade outside of their renewal window are unable to do so at this time. There are four different Annual Passes: Disney Incredi-Pass, Disney Sorcerer Pass, Disney Pirate Pass, and Disney Pixie Dust Pass. Sorcerer, Pirate, and Pixie Dust are available for Florida Residents and can be paid on the monthly plan. Disney Incredi-Pass has no block-out dates, whereas the other three have block-out dates that vary throughout the year. If you wish to visit during the holidays or very popular times of the year, the Incredi-Pass is definitely the one for you. If you will be visiting the parks mostly during the week, the Pixie Dust Pass might be your best bet.
If you love taking photos with Disney Photographers, be sure to add the PhotoPASS option to your Annual Pass. For an additional cost, you can have unlimited downloads of all the photos taken on attractions, with characters, and in front of Cinderella Castle!
Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
Malanie
