Aloha, Philippe! Welcome to planDisney. We appreciate you taking the time to send in your question!
'Ohana is one of my family's favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort! It's located on the second floor of the Great Ceremonial House at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and my three teenage sons are big fans of their all-you-care-to-enjoy menu. Dinner options include meat skewers roasted over an expansive 18-foot oak fire pit. But to me, the best part is the big skillet containing the teriyaki noodles, stir-fried vegetables, honey-coriander chicken wings, and pork dumplings tossed in a garlic ginger sauce. I'm not ashamed to admit that we polished off a few of these skillets last time we dined!
'Ohana closed for several months in 2020-2021, but I'm happy to report that the restaurant reopened last summer for both breakfast and dinner service (noodle fans rejoice)! The only thing that has not returned are the characters during breakfast. Reservations can be made up to 60 days prior to your visit; currently, you can make bookings through August 28 (it's possible that you received an error message because all the available dinner times were booked).
If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you'll have 60 days in advance of your check-in day... plus, you can make dining reservations for your entire stay, up to 10 days. My suggestion is to log into your My Disney Experience account tomorrow at 6:00 AM EST, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll find availability!
Best of luck, Philippe! And don't forget to save room for some of that famous Bread Pudding à la mode topped with warm caramel sauce and bananas. Yum!
