I just tried changing Characters on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App on my iPhone for myself and my daughter to see where the glitch might be for you. I had the most success making and saving the change and then logging out and back in again to see our new Characters. I asked my husband to see if our Characters were updated on his app, and he also had to quit the app and relaunch it before the changes took effect. Hopefully this will work for you, too!
If the changes are still not showing up, you might want to try logging into your
My Disney Experience account on a computer and clicking “Profile.” From there you’ll see a blue link to “Change Character.” To access your son’s account, just go to “My Family & Friends” and then click the blue “Update” button to the right.
