I updated my AP about 2 months ago but decided on going with one of the new pass options. I've decided that maybe this isn't for me and was wondering if I can choose to update/switch back to my old pass instead as I'm still within the 30 days?

Hi, Kaira! I am so glad you stopped by with this question. I did a little digging with the help of a wonderful Cast Member and I believe we have an answer for you. This answer, however, may change depending on how you are planning to modify your Florida Resident Annual Pass.

I can certainly understand if you initially purchased an annual pass with blackout dates, such as the Florida Resident Silver, Gold, or Weekday Select Annual Pass, and would now like to go with one of the Annual Passes that does not limit the days you may visit the parks. The Florida Resident Platinum and Platinum Plus Annual Passes would be the choice for you, in this case, and you are more than welcome to upgrade your Annual Pass at any time. Just stop by any Guest Relations at the parks or Disney Springs. A Cast Member will be happy to assist you with this upgrade and will be able to tell you how much you will need to pay to complete this change. Please note that your expiration date will remain the same as your initial Annual Pass. Also, if you purchased you decided to go with the monthly payment plan, then your monthly payment will continue at the same rate. You will need to pay the full upgrade price difference at Guest Relations when you upgrade the Annual Pass. Kaira, if you did purchase the Florida Resident Platinum or Platinum Plus Annual Pass and have now decided to downgrade to another Annual Pass that contains blackout dates, then you will, unfortunately, not be able to make this change.

I hope this information helps you make a decision on your Florida Resident Annual Pass options! Please let us know if you have any further questions concerning this and we will dig a little more for you. I hope you have a magical day!
