Hiya Anthony,
It is always great to see a fellow midwestern over at planDisney. I love that you are taking your Princess to
Walt Disney World Resort to celebrate her upcoming birthday! We just recently celebrated my youngest Prince's birthday there, although he is a little older than 2 these days. He loved the new evening fireworks extravaganza,
Harmonious at EPCOT. He said it was like a special fireworks show just for his big day.
Our family loves character dining experiences and
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, located in the Norway Pavilion at
EPCOT, is top notch. We love the delicious buffet selection of Nordic cuisine, and the lovely interaction with the Disney Princesses who dance and parade throughout the restaurant. Unfortunately, this character dining experience is temporarily unavailable and there has not been an official announcement on when it may re-open. Therefore, it is unlikely it will be available for your little one's upcoming birthday bash.
The good news is there is another option available at
Magic Kingdom.
Cinderella's Royal Table, located inside the Castle at Magic Kingdom, offers a delicious dining option for
breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as an opportunity to see Cinderella, and at times, a visiting Princess. Plus, what little Princess would not love dining in a castle for her birthday? The restaurant is extremely popular so
advanced reservations are highly recommended and this location does require pre-payment at the time of the reservation.
One more exciting announcement -
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom will be returning later this month!
Bookings are scheduled to begin early August. The Fairy Godmother's Apprentices would be sure to create a perfect birthday memory for you and your Princess so you will want to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for further announcements of when reservations open, or be sure to check your My Disney Experience account often.
I hope you all have the most magical trip and memories to last a lifetime. Please be sure to
stop back and see me if you have additional questions.
With pixie dust,
Margaret
