Hi! For our upcoming vacation next week we will be staying at Port Orleans French Quarter for the first half and the Riverside for the next half. Will they be able to transfer our luggages to Riverside after we check out from FQ? Thanks

Well, hey there, Ethel Rose! Welcome to planDisney! Seeing you here with such a great planning question is just the bees' knees!

In just days, you'll arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, ready to embark on your magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I know you must be so excited! A split stay, where you stay at two (or more!) different Disney Resort hotels, is just the best way to enjoy the Resorts' different theming and amenities and my favorite way to stay. With their Southern charm, fantastic dining options, oh-so-fun Resort activities and location within a relaxing boat ride to Disney Springs, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and Riverside will make the perfect, peaceful home away from home right in the middle of the magic. Now, let's dig a little deeper into your question!

I think you will be happy to hear that Bell Services will gladly transfer your luggage from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter to Riverside for you. On your checkout day, pack up all your luggage, count up the number of bags you have, and call Bell Services from your room's phone to let them know you will need to transfer your luggage to another Resort. I recommend calling them at least 20-30 minutes before you plan to leave to give them time to get to your room.

After Bell Services picks up your luggage, feel free to head out and have the best Disney day. Then, once your room at Riverside is ready, you can call Bell Services for them to deliver your luggage right to your room. Like Tiana, you're almost there!

Ethel Rose, on the day you switch Resorts, I highly recommend that you pack a park bag to keep with you. It can take several hours for your luggage to make it to your new Resort, so you will want to make sure you have any medications, swimsuits, change of clothes or any other needs with you while you play in the parks or enjoy your new Resort. Enjoy those beignets! YUM.

I hope this helps, Ethel Rose, and I hope you have the most magical vacation, full of blue skies and sunshine! Feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have. Think of planDisney as your friends on the other side.

Dreams do come true in New Orleans,
