For our upcoming trip to WDW we will be doing a split stay between Boulder Ridge and Polynesian. I know that the bell service can move our luggage but what about any refrigerator items like milk? I would hate to throw away good food only to buy it again.

Hi there, Matthew! One of the benefits of staying in many of the Disney Vacation Club villas is that access to a full kitchen. It's so convenient getting up in the morning and making a healthy breakfast while the kids shower and get ready. It's a time and money saver for our family.

Bell Services will take both luggage and grocery items for you. I always travel with a Sharpie type marker, and this is one place where it really comes in handy. Save the grocery bags (or bring your own if you are having groceries delivered) when you go shopping for the start of your stay at Boulder Ridge Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. On the day of the move to Disney's Polynesian Villas and Bungalows, repack your perishables in those bags and mark them with the Sharpie as perishable food items. When you contact Bell Services, let them know you'll be asking them to take things that will have to be refrigerated.

The only real issue we've ever had is that frozen food items may not stay entirely frozen. That's mostly a hazard of the actual transportation of the items from one resort to another in the hot Florida sunshine. I try to avoid moving anything frozen.

If you want to put the reusable ice packs with your things, I happen to know they travel well - at least from New Jersey to Florida. This can give your items an added measure of security when they are moved to the Polynesian.

Have an absolutely magical stay, Matthew!
