Hi, Ruby, and welcome to planDisney! Your spring visit sounds positively magical, especially
Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park. And I'm all about squaring away my meal plans; my husband says I enjoy eating as much as riding the attractions! So let's look at your options for dining before the party.
As you know, your after-hours ticket grants admission
as early as 7:00 PM, so that gives you three full hours to enjoy Magic Kingdom before the event. In my experience, party guests will have a special entrance and typically aren't allowed in until very close to 7:00. I've heard some say they start letting people in a few minutes early, but since there's no guarantee, I wouldn't advise booking dining reservations as early as 6:00 PM.
Checking the website, I see plenty of
dining availability from 7:00 - 9:00 PM on your party day. I suggest giving yourself a cushion by booking a reservation around 7:30 PM. You'll still have over an hour to stroll down Main Street, USA, or ride an attraction or two before the party begins. I recommend booking your dinner as soon as possible since you're
within your 60-day window.
Another option is to grab dinner before you enter the park. Disney Springs has plenty of options; one of my favorites is
Frontera Cocina. The Chips & Toasted Pumpkin Seed "Hummus" is muy bueno! And here's my favorite part of this plan: You can have dessert on Mickey during the after-hours event!
Ice cream, popcorn, and select beverages are included with your ticket. I think I hear a Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bar calling your name...
I hope I've given you some options for having a ton of fun during your upcoming trip, Ruby. Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
