Hey there, hi there, Meg! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney.
I couldn't be happier to see that you have a pixie-dusted
Walt Disney World adventure just around the riverbend. And at two incredible Resorts?! I know you must be getting so excited! My family and I do a split stay, where we stay at two (or more!) different Resorts, almost every time we visit. With the different theming, variety of amenities and different locations of each Resort, it feels like two vacations in one! Since you have your Resort reservations made and plan on taking advantage of
Lightning Lane Passes, it sounds like your planning is off to a great start. Now, let's tie up your loose planning ends so you can sit back, relax and start your countdown to the magic!
I think you will be happy to hear that if you have two consecutive reservations at two different
Disney Resort hotels, you will be able to make your Lightning Lane selections for your entire stay, up to 14 days, seven days before your initial check-in day. That includes both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass. Since you can book your selections for your entire stay at once, I recommend booking your arrival windows for your most important must-do attractions towards the end of your trip to increase the odds of availability and options for arrival windows.
Another strategy I love to use to maximize the magic of my Lightning Lane Multi Pass is to make one of my pre-arrival selections as close to park opening as possible. That way, once I'm at the park and tap into that attraction's Lightning Lane entrance, I can make another selection for an attraction from any group. The earlier in the day you make that selection, the better the chances are to snag one for a more popular attraction. And less time in line equals more time in the magic!
I hope this was helpful, Meg, and I hope you have the BEST. DAY. EVER! Please feel free to stop by any time with any planning questions you may have. You've got a friend in planDisney.
See ya real soon,
Mandy
