Moms, I've got an upcoming reservation for Coronado Springs. What's the difference between a preferred king room and a business class king room?

Hi, Rochelle! I have stayed at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort a few times recently and it has quickly become one of my favorite rRsorts. Since it is home to a convention center, this Walt Disney World Resort Moderate hotel does have a few additional amenities that other Moderates do not have, such as La Vida Health Club, Casa de Belleza Salon, two table-service restaurants, and the Rix Lounge, a practically perfect location to unwind after a long day in the parks.

In addition to these amenities, there is another added to bonus to staying at this Resort, the ability to book a Business Class room. This booking category is very similar to the Concierge rooms at Deluxe Resorts, in that Guests in these rooms will enjoy a great room location and have access to a lounge. Take a look at this recent question I answered about the Business Class rooms, which are in the Cabanas section of the Resort, generally located in building 9B. Within this booking category, you will find separate categories for king- and queen-sized bedding configurations.

The Preferred King Rooms are standard rooms that contain a king-sized bed and are located in areas of the Resort close to the main building, El Centro. Preferred rooms are usually located in buildings 1, 2 and 3 of the Casitas section of the Resort. This does situate you directly adjacent to dining, shopping and transportation options in El Centro.

As you can see, Rochelle, you will be able to enjoy a room with a great location and king-sized bed with both of the room categories you mentioned, the Business Class rooms do offer a little added pixie dust to make your stay more magical. I hope you have a magical day, and please stop by again if you have any further questions.
