Welcome aboard, Carol!
Hooray for your upcoming sailing with
Disney Cruise Line! It's so exciting to plan the cruise, but of course, even more exciting when the big day arrives and it's finally time to set sail!
Disney Cruise Line mails out a packet of cruise information a few weeks before your sail date. Included in that are
luggage tags. Since you're flying in the day prior and not using
Disney Cruise Line's transportation, you will want to wait to attach those luggage tags until you're ready to head to the cruise port. The porters there will take your luggage for you at the curb and send it off to your stateroom, while you keep just a carry-on bag with any essentials you'll need until later that afternoon. The porters do have blank extra luggage tags, so if you arrive without your luggage tags, it's okay. As long as you know your stateroom number, they'll just jot that on there with your name and your bags will magically make their way onboard just the same. I booked one cruise at such the last minute that it was too late to mail me the cruise packet, so I did have to use the blank luggage tags when I arrived at the port and my luggage was in my stateroom later that day, no problem.
Have so much fun as you count down these last days until your cruise vacation with Captain Mickey and his crew, Carol!
