I have an upcoming cruise on the Disney Wish (excited) and have a clarifying question on the Covid test. If I am embarking on a Monday, can I get tested any time on the Saturday or is it strictly 48 hours before embarkation time? Woohoo here we come!

Hiya, Philip! Welcome aboard, and thank you for sailing on in with your question.

Oh my goodness, are you super excited about your upcoming voyage on the Disney Wish? I've been sailing Disney Cruise Line for nearly 25 years, and I don't think I've been so excited about sailing since the maiden voyage of the Disney Magic. This was long-awaited, and I can't wait to see everything!

While things can change fast and furiously with cruising nowadays, if you keep an eye on the Know Before You Go section of the website, you'll be able to catch any changes that may occur before your sailing. As of right now, the requirement is that Covid testing occurs two days prior to sailing, so we're talking calendar days, as opposed to 48 hours. So if you wake up bright and early 2 days prior to sailing and take your test, it's still valid, even if your port arrival time is later in the day on the day of embarkation.

I hope your upcoming voyage is everything you've been WISHing for!
