Howdy, pardner! It's so great to see you back here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melinda! After riding the "Wildest Ride in the Wilderness," my family loves to head over to
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe to rustle up some grub. This Frontierland dining spot is very popular with guests, so I always recommend getting there around opening time at 11:00 AM (or eating an early dinner) to ensure a getting a table in a shady location.
Although you'll want to avoid the Fajita Platter, Pecos Bill's has plenty of tasty pepper-free options. My favorite entree is the Beef Nachos, and the simplicity of this dish is what makes it so good- tortilla chips topped with queso and seasoned ground beef (and we all know that everything is better with queso)! Looking for a burger at Pecos Bill's? You can even get a 1/3 lb Angus Bacon Cheeseburger, served with tortilla chips instead of fries.
Mobile Ordering your meal has never been easier at Walt Disney World Resort! Not only does it save you time in line, but you can also often customize your order. Try checking out this feature in advance of your trip to see if there is an option to leave off the peppers if you're considering an entree that includes them.
The chefs at Walt Disney World Resort strive to make every dining experience magical. My oldest son has a tree nut and peanut allergy, and I've always been impressed with how the restaurants have accommodated him. If you decide to dine at any Table Service restaurants during your trip, you should be able to note any food allergies or dietary restrictions on
My Disney Experience at the time of making your reservation. To be safe, you can always voice your concerns when you arrive at both Counter Service and Table Service restaurants. I also suggest checking out the
Special Dietary Requests page on the Walt Disney World website.
I wish you a magical trip this summer, Melinda! See ya' real soon!
