Hello James!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love seeing Guests who continue to visit us with questions over the years.
In the past,
Disney Theme Park Tickets never expired, then when that was changed, they offered a non-expiration option for purchase. However, that option ended several years ago. Currently, theme park tickets expire 14 days after the first use, so you would not be able to save unused days for a future visit. If you have older, unexpired tickets at home, (go check that junk drawer!) Disney continues to honor all unexpired tickets.
For your second question, it sounds like you are planning what is known as a “Split Stay.” We have done this on many occasions. I find this transition to be pretty easy and Disney makes it as simple as possible. On the day you check-out of
Disney’s All Star Sports Resort, simply take your luggage to Bell Services and inform them you will be moving to a different resort. They will take your bags and transfer them for you to
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn! Usually, transfers occur in the early to mid-afternoon, so keep a day bag or backpack with you with essentials you will need. Then head off to your destination for the day and let Disney take care of the rest. Once you arrive in your room at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, call or stop by Bell Services to see if your luggage has arrived, and they will be happy to deliver it to your room.
I hope this helps as you plan your visit, James, and that you will let us know if you have additional questions as your trip approaches.
Happy Planning!
