Hi Anna,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Your vacation will be here before you know it, but if something happens to where you need to
cancel your Disney Resorts Hotel Reservation, you should be able to (details below). When you checked out under the total cost for the reservation, there should have been a date that showed you the last day you could cancel and receive your full deposit.
If you don’t remember seeing that Hakuna Matata! Within your email confirmation, if you scroll to the bottom, you’ll see an area that says “Walt Disney World room only Cancellation Policy”. There it details that guests can receive a refund of their deposit if they cancel 5 days before their arrival date. This can be done by calling the number in the email or by canceling/modifying your trip in
My Disney Experience. If you booked a Disney World Resort package, inclusive of Theme Park Tickets, you can cancel without any charges up to 30 days before the vacation.
After you cancel your hotel reservation, you would also need to cancel your
Disney Park Pass reservations, if any. To do that within the
My Disney Experience mobile app, select the three horizontal lines, then select “Future Plans”. Next, you’d select the date of the Disney Park Pass you are canceling, after logging in again, you’ll be able to cancel or modify the Disney Park Passes.
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your trip later this year. If you have any other planning or vacation questions in the meantime,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
