Hi Samantha!
Welcome back to planDisney! How exciting that you are getting ready for a return visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort. Spring is a wonderful time to visit, and you’ll find new attractions, old favorites, and even special events. Be sure to check out
Taste of Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival where you can stroll World Showcase tasting and sipping treats from around the world while enjoying stunning topiary displays and floral exhibits. This is one of my favorite events and should not be missed!
You’ll be happy to learn that you don’t have to do anything to your
MagicBands! They are not linked to a particular trip, but a specific Guest. This means you can use any MagicBand linked to you for any visit. If you have multiple MagicBands, you can bring them all with you and wear a different band each day if you want. I enjoy collecting MagicBands with my favorite characters and movies, and I usually bring several on a trip. I’ll wear my Figment MagicBand for our day at Epcot, and my Cinderella Castle MagicBand for our visit to Magic Kingdom. As long as the battery is still functioning in your MagicBand, you are set to go! Disney will tell you that battery life is approximately two years and this is accurate, though many Guests will tell you they have had MagicBands work longer than that. The only issue can be that older bands do not sync as well with on-ride
PhotoPass photos that don’t have a touchpoint after the ride. An example would be The Haunted Mansion. If you are wanting these photos and you don’t see them appear in your account, visit a Disney PhotoPass desk in a theme park, or call the
PhotoPass Support Team to have them assist you in finding your PhotoPass Photos and having them added to your account.
Wishing you all the best on your upcoming trip, Samantha. Please let us know what additional trip planning questions you have!
