Hello there from the United Kingdom, I hope you are well? I recently made an ADR for my Birthday on 15th September at California Grill for 8pm but was not staying on site when I booked this and now I am staying on sight do I have let them know

    Hello UK!

They do ask you a lot of questions when you make your dining reservations, don't they? One of the things they always ask is, "Where are you staying?"

There have been several times that we switched resorts after we made our dining reservations. We did not tell Disney Dining that we did this and did not happen to have any problems. As long as you have your confirmation number, your reservations will be honored.

I will say though, that while it's not totally necessary to call Disney Dining (407-939-3463) to inform them of the change, if it's not too much trouble, you should probably call them anyway. Here's why: a few times during our trips, Disney has needed to contact us about Dining-related issues while we were actually at WDW. For example, one one occasion, we had reservations for the Spirit of Aloha luau and had it canceled because of weather. Disney called to tell us this. If they know where you are, it just makes it that much easier to find you.

So chances are, Disney won't need to call you and they won't need to know where you're staying. But just in case, you might want to tell them.

    Hope this helps.
