    Unfortunately we will not be able to stay inside of Disney. We are using a friends timeshare outside of Disney. I do not know how to approach the dining situation since you can't purchase a dining plan? I have 5 day tix with hopper and water park

    Hi there Lorri!

    Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! Rest assured, you do not need to purchase the Disney Dining Plan in order to enjoy the amazing Table-Service and Quick-Service restaurants located at the Walt Disney World Resort. Although my family does usually stay at a Disney Resort hotel, we occasionally drive down for a quick weekend and will stay off-property. When we do not purchase the Disney Dining Plan, we simply pay for each meal using a debit card. 

    You will be happy to know that all Guests can book Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days prior to their visit. I do suggest booking a few Advanced Dining Reservations since many of the popular Table-Service restaurants will book up several months in advance.  If you have not done so already, consider creating an itinerary for each day so that you can plan your meals accordingly. You can book Advanced Dining Reservations via My Disney Experience, by calling Disney Dining at (407)WDW-DINE or (407)939-3463 or by following this link to book online.
