I unfortunately just canceled my reservation for 8/24. How long does it take Disney to refund your trip? Also, can you book for 2021 yet??

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa! It’s always great to see you here!

Melissa, I’m sending a great big virtual hug right now. I know all too well how it feels when a trip to Walt Disney World Resort is cancelled. I like to think of our favorite bear, Winnie the Pooh’s quote, “When life throws you a rainy day, play in the puddles.” Next yEAR is a wonderful time to come to The Most Magical Place on Earth; it’s Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th Anniversary! What a momentous occasion to come and celebrate!

I called and spoke to a Cast Member for you and was told refunds typically take up to 10 days to process. And I have great news for you, Melissa! You can start booking for 2021 at this time!

One of my favorite choices to make when planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is to think about which Resort hotel I’ll choose to stay at! The amenities can’t be beat, and even when you’re leaving the Theme Parks, you’re never leaving the magic!

Melissa, I am sending all the planning pixie dust your way! And remember, we’re all ears if you have any questions along the way.
