    Hi! It was my understanding that you receive new magic bands for each trip. I went to customize new bands for our upcoming trip to pick new colors and it just takes me to the screen with our former bands. Do we get to pick new colors?

    Hi Christina!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You are correct that you will get a new set of MagicBands for your upcoming trip, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. You also have the option to use the older ones interchangeably if you'd like! When you login to your My Disney Experience account, your home page should say "Welcome, Christina! Make or modify plans anytime". Under that should say "Personalize Your Magic Band". If you click on this it should take you to the screen that lists your MagicBands and Cards. If you don't see this you can click on the top right hand corner where it says "My Disney Experience" and then under My Account click on "MagicBands and Cards". 

    This page should have two sections, your orders, or upcoming reservations, and below that is an area to manage your past bands. Under your orders you should see your reservation listed and you should be able to click on the MagicBand order and customize your colors and names there. If you don't see this please double check that your reservation is correctly linked. 

    Go back to the top right hand corner and click on the My Disney Experience logo, then under Plan and Manage select "My Reservations and Tickets". Here you should see your resort reservation listed. If not, click on "Link Resort Reservation" and enter your confirmation number. After this is done you should have the option to select your MagicBands. If you need assistance doing this or do not know your reservation number you can call 407-939-1936 and a Cast Member should be able to assist you. Please let me know if you have any other questions!
