Hi Stacey-Lynne!
It sounds like you have done your research and I'm so excited you're thinking of trying
Memory Maker. I have been able to utilize
Memory Maker on a few trips, and I really love how easy it is to capture, download and share my magical vacation memories with family and friends around the world.
You certainly can share a
Memory Maker between two families. You will need to add whomever you plan on traveling with to your
My Disney Experience Friends & Family list, and they to yours. Once you have done this and enabled photo sharing in your profiles any pictures taken by members of your party no matter where they are on property will be added to the
Memory Maker account. One group could be visiting Mickey at Town Square Theater, another could be escaping the Yeti on Expedition Everest and every photo will be added. You do not all have to be together, you can all enjoy your favorite attractions and experiences on your own and come together once you arrive home to reminisce on your unforgettable experiences.
Only one person is the entitlement holder and would be responsible for downloading the photos once you arrive home. You can download the pictures as much as you would like before your time limit has expired, on as many different devices as you wish. I shared a
Memory Maker with a close friend last May, and she simply came to my house and was able to log in and download all the pictures I wanted on my device. It's so simple and such a great service, I know you will love it. I hope you have a wonderful vacation, and please stop by again with any additional question you might have.
Happy Memory Making,
~Jen
