Hi Kesha!
It sounds like you’re ready to dive into the magic of the holiday season at Walt Disney World Resort! You’re in for a treat because the holidays are truly something special across all four theme parks,
Disney Springs, and the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels.
Beyond the beloved
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, you’ll find festive decorations, holiday music, seasonal treats, and unique experiences throughout the entire Walt Disney World Resort. Here are a few highlights:
Over at Magic Kingdom Park, you’ll find that it is transformed with holiday cheer from the moment you enter. The towering Christmas tree on Main Street, U.S.A., sparkling wreaths, and shimmering garlands create a joyful atmosphere.
At
EPCOT, The International Festival of the Holidays is a global celebration, with Holiday Kitchens serving seasonal treats from around the world, Candlelight Processional featuring celebrity narrators telling the story of Christmas, and the World Showcase lit up with festive décor.
One of my favorite ways to spend an evening is at Disney Springs. Holiday shopping, uniquely themed Christmas, live entertainment, seasonal treats, and “snow” falling in select areas make this an immersive experience.
While Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a special, ticketed event that runs through mid-December, some of its offerings make their way to regular park days for all guests to enjoy closer to Christmas week. Based on previous years, the week of Christmas has included festive holiday experiences for day guests, such as:
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks: This spectacular show is currently on the
calendar nightly from December 21 through December 29, 2024, filling the sky with holiday magic.
While the parade schedule hasn’t been released yet, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade has historically been offered during Christmas week. You’ll find Mickey and friends in their holiday best, reindeer, toy soldiers, and even Santa Claus!
During this time,
Magic Kingdom Park usually has holiday treats available for purchase, and you may find additional seasonal entertainment and special touches throughout the park to keep the spirit going.
