Why hello again Chelsea, it's always great to see you back here at planDisney!
Something I love about already being in
Magic Kingdom Park on a day when a
special ticketed event is taking place, is the ability to not only take advantage of some potentially much lower wait times for attractions but also getting a head start in receiving your party paraphernalia. In this case, you'll be receiving a wristband to show that you're an attendee of
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the great news is that if you're already inside Magic Kingdom Park ahead of 4:00 P.M. you won't be required to exit; there are often several wristband distribution locations available to you!
- The wristband distribution points can typically be found in Adventureland near Pirates of the Caribbean and Tortuga Tavern (currently known as Tortuga Treasures while some transformative reimagining in the area continues to be underway), in Tomorrowland over by Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and even in Fantasyland adjacent to Fantasy Faire and Mickey's Philharmagic. (Note that these locations may be subject to change in the future without prior notice and based on operational need, so it's a good idea to take a peek earlier in the day to see if they've remained consistent with where they were in previous years and to ask how early you can already begin to queue up to pick up your wristband.) Personally I find that though you can often spot some clear Wristband Distribution signage at each spot, the Tomorrowland location seems to be the busiest by far each year!
- By cleverly using the Park Hopper Option to get into Magic Kingdom Park early in this way, you already have an advantage over all of the party guests who don't have daytime admission who will be eagerly waiting all the way back at the entrance. I've observed that folks and families already begin waiting over an hour in advance to be among the first to enter, and if you've strategized and planned well you can already begin queuing up to meet folks like Jack Skellington in his Sandy Claws finest accompanied by Sally - who often have some of the longest wait times at any special event!
I hope this helps, Chelsea, stay tuned for more details about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party on the
Disney Parks Blog, which tend to come just as the spooky season draws to a close here at Walt Disney World Resort. We look forward to seeing you back here again with more questions ahead of your upcoming trip!
Here's to having a head start on all the holiday fun on your next visit!
