I understand that under 3 tend to eat of adults plate when have dining plan. However, my daughter (who will be 18 months at time) is anaphylactic to wheat so needs to be strictly wheat free, how would this work? Thanks!

    Dear Emma,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great planning question about your daughter's food allergies.

Walt Disney World Resort is among the most accommodating vacation destinations for guests with food allergies, and you will absolutely find great options for your family in most locations. Some locations have gluten-free menus, and others offer items that naturally have no wheat. In terms of eating off of your plate, I'm sure that they would allow you to prepare a separate plate for her considering her allergies.

With a child who is prone to anaphylaxis, however, I would be concerned about cross contamination issues, so I would be sure to contact the Special Diets department so that you can be fully prepared with your options planned out for the week. They will also be able to answer your question about plate sharing on a case by case basis.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
