I understand that signing-up as soon as the park opens is critical to participate in Jedi Training. Is it true that sign-ups happen on Hollywood Blvd as well as at the attraction? Friend recently visited and thinks she saw CMs doing just this... Help..

Hi Elizabeth,   How exciting that you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World!  Star Wars: Jedi Training Academy is a very popular show at Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park. I would definitely suggest signing up for this show as soon as the park opens!  I called Disney to verify my information and they confirmed that you may register your Padawan at Sounds Dangerous on Echo Lake. Kids, ages 4 to 12, must be accompanied by an adult or guardian to participate in the show. Approximately 15 Padawan participants can register for each show and will train to become junior Jedi Knights!  Performance Times will vary so please pick up a Park Map and Times Guide when entering the park. You can also pick up a park map at your Disney Resort ahead of time to better familiarize yourself with where Sounds Dangerous is located. Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!  I hope you have a magical Walt Disney World vacation!
