We understand safety concerns re: no adults in kidspace. But are any provisions available for a severely disabled adult (of small stature, soft-spoken/timid, in a power-chair, about the size of a sixth-grader?), who'd have much more fun there? With a PCA?

Welcome aboard, Stephen! I'm glad you've found the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and it sounds like your family has a magical cruise coming up! How wonderful!

You are correct in saying that adults are not allowed in the Youth Club spaces, except to pick up and drop off their children during secured programming hours. However, you'll be happy to find out that Disney Cruise Line does offer Open House hours in the Youth Clubs. During these times, adults, older siblings, younger siblings and friends can stop into the clubs to check out the spaces and take part in some of the programming. During these Open House hours, parents stay with their children, so they are the ones supervising them as the club is not secured for check-in and check-out at that time. That might be a great time for your family member to go with you to the clubs to take part in the fun.

The first day on the ship, there are Open House hours for most of the afternoon. Then, there are a few Open House hours each day throughout the rest of the cruise, at specifically scheduled times. Be sure to check your Personal Navigator, which is the schedule of events and activities onboard, to get specific times for the Open Houses, then chat with the Cast Members at the entrance to the clubs.

I hope that helps as you continue to plan your cruise, Stephen! I'm happy to help if you have further questions, so don't hesitate to stop back!
