As I understand, refillable mugs work for up to 14 days including splitstays. So, those who have a split stay can continue refilling during the 2nd half of their splitstay. Does this apply to mugs that come with the dining plan?

    Hi Chris!
    Welcome to planDisney.

Refillable Resort Mugs are available as a stand-alone purchase for the length of your stay at a Disney Resort hotel for around $21.99 (this price is always subject to change).  These mugs are the same as those provided with the purchase of a Disney dining plan, and the same rules apply.  These mugs are valid for 14 days, and can be used over a split-stay. You may continue refilling with your choice of drink for up to 14 days.

Unlimited refills of select fountain drinks and hot drinks such as tea, coffee, and hot chocolate can be made at the Beverage Islands located near to the Quick-Service restaurants at all the Disney Resort hotels.  It's also worth noting that you will find a sink next to all the beverage stations so you can rinse your mug before your next refill.

There are currently no refill stations for these mugs at the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, but you can carry your refillable mugs with you as they are easily transportable with lids that clip shut, and because they have handles you could use a carabiner clip to attach them to a backpack.  You are also very welcome to refill them at the water fountains or ask for a cup of free iced water at any Quick-Service location at the theme parks.

Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Disney's Blizzard Beach both offer the purchase of different water park exclusive mugs for unlimited refills of soda for use during a day at the water park.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  You can also send a question directly to me if you wish.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation at Walt Disney World Resort.  Keep your eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news about events that may be happening during your stay.
