Hi Craig,
Welcome back to planDisney! We are glad you sailed by with your question. How exciting that you have a whole crew cruising with you in July!
Planning a Disney Cruise Line vacation with friends and family is one of my favorite things.
If your reservations are linked and your cruise is paid in full, once your booking window opens, you can select Guests from each stateroom to include in your Port Adventure reservations. One thing to keep in mind is that your
booking window for each stateroom is based on the highest
Castaway Club level of the Guests in individual staterooms. For instance, if one stateroom has a Guest who is a Gold Castaway Club Member and the other stateroom is occupied by Guests who are Silver Castaway Club Members, you will able to make reservations for both rooms when the Silver booking window opens. You could go ahead and book Port Adventures for the first room and then make reservations for the second room later. One tip is to have at least one Guest with higher Castaway Club status in each stateroom. If needed, eligible reservations allow for
editing and adjusting of travel plans through
My Reservations on the Disney Cruise Line Website.
Other benefits of linking your staterooms are that you will be seated together (or close by, depending on the number in your party) during Rotational Dining and when you make other onboard activity plans. Just
give the friendly Cast Members a call, and they will help link everyone together and can help adjust your stateroom occupancy if needed.
I hope this information is helpful, Craig. Please let us know if you have other questions before you set sail.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
