Hello, Jennifer! Thanks for cruising by planDisney with your question. I’m happy to help!
A land and sea Disney vacation sounds like an absolute dream, especially coming from the Canadian cold! After soaking up the sun and relaxation on your
Disney Cruise, you’ll be ready to dive into the magic of Walt Disney World.
Now, let’s navigate the details of purchasing
Lightning Lane Multi Pass (LLMP).
The My Disney Experience app requires you to be physically located in the U.S. to make Lightning Lane selections. Since location services determine eligibility, and international waters don’t typically register as within the U.S., you
may not be able to complete your purchase while at sea, even in the Bahamas. However, you could try purchasing a
Disney Cruise Line internet package and testing whether the app recognizes your location as valid. I also recommend checking with Guest Services onboard to see if they have any insights from past guests’ experiences. If you have a trusted companion on land, such as a travel agent or family member, they may also be able to assist with securing selections on your behalf. Just make sure that you have a payment method added to your profile to make the process smooth sailing!
The good news? Once you arrive back in the U.S., you can purchase LLMP and Lightning Lane Single Pass (LLSP) on the same day of your visit, subject to availability. While popular attractions may book up quickly, the magic of Disney is always waiting, whether through a Lightning Lane or a standby queue! And after days of relaxing at sea, you just might find yourself happily strolling through the parks at a leisurely pace, soaking in all the details and surprises along the way.
I hope this helps, Jennifer! Wishing you an unforgettable adventure both on land and at sea. Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!
