Welcome to planDisney, Michelle! We are glad you brought your question to us today. It is important to "
Know Before You Go"!
Staying hydrated during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is key. I personally prefer bringing insulated water bottles, but I have seen many other Guests wearing hydration packs as you describe. Whether or not you'll be able to wear the pack on an
attraction will depend on the particular attraction and what type of seating restraint is involved. I would say for most attractions, you will need to remove the pack and place it in the provided storage bin or at your feet. For slower-moving attractions, you may be able to keep it on. When boarding an attraction, a Cast Member in the loading area will let you know what the protocol is at that particular location. I have also included the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules so that you can review a list of prohibited items as well as the maximum allowable bag size.
Bottle filling stations have been making their way into the parks, so be on the lookout when you need to refill your hydration pack. Complimentary cups of ice water are also available at quick-service dining locations.
I hope that helps! Please stop by and see us again if you have any additional questions. Enjoy your visit!
