I understand to go from the Wilderness Villas to the resort with the restaurants and large pool you need to take a bus. Sounds like a bit of a hassle and additional time - not proximity to your room - what is it like?

Thanks for sending your great question to the Mom's Panel, Faith!  I have great news for you! The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a full-service Disney Deluxe Villa Resort housed in a 5-story tower adjacent to the main lobby at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. You will not need to take a bus from the Villas at Disney's WIlderness Lodge to access DIsney's WIlderness Lodge where the restaurants and The Silver Creek Springs pool is located. In fact, my family enjoyed a lovely stay in a two-bedroom villa last December and will be returning again later this month. We found the walk from our villa to the main lobby to be very minimal and to be perfectly honest, it only took five minutes at the most.  There is a covered breezeway separating the two areas. I wasn't sure if you were thinking of The Cabins at DIsney's Fort WIlderness Resort when you were questioning the distance to Disney's WIlderness Lodge.  Guests can take a bus from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Follow this link to learn more about the Villas at DIsney's Wilderness Lodge. I hope this information helps!  Please feel free to write me back with any additional questions regarding the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge or your Walt DIsney World Vacation. Best wishes for a Magical Trip, Faith!
    Happy Planning,
