I understand that the DVC Home Resort booking window is 11-months, but that is for a 7-night consecutive stay. Other than waiting, what is the best way to book a stay longer than 7-days? Should I book online for the 7-days and then call to modify? Thanks!

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Heather!

You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney. How exciting that you are planning a vacation to your home away from home at a Disney Vacation Club Resort.  Heather, I love staying at our Home Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge, as the amenities like kitchens and in-room washers and dryers in the Villas and kitchenettes in the Deluxe Studios add so much value to our family trips.

Heather, I just confirmed the answer to your question with Member Services. You can book your Home Resort beginning 11 months from your desired check-in date for a maximum of seven consecutive nights after your desired check-in day. If you need to book additional nights, then you can call Member Services to book each additional night one at a time until you book your desired number of nights, up to a maximum of 30 consecutive nights. This does mean you have to call back each day to add an additional night on to your reservation, and it is of course pending availability.  But it is the only way to book your desired night stay if it extends beyond the seven consecutive nights available to book at the 11-month mark.

I hope this helps you, Heather.  If you have any further Disney Vacation Club questions, giddy up back here to see us and we'll be happy to help you.  Remember, you've got a friend in planDisney.

    Happy Trails,
    Keri
