Hiya, Kyle!
Welcome Home and welcome to planDisney. How exciting that you just added more magic to your
Disney Vacation Club Membership with the additional purchase of Disney Vacation Club Points.
Kyle, when you purchase a Vacation Ownership into a Disney Vacation Club Resort, that Resort becomes your
Home Resort. When you buy Vacation Ownership into a second Resort, you now have two Home Resorts. Only your Home Resort can be booked beginning 11 months from your desired check-in date using the Vacation Club Points allotted to you for that specific Resort, and all other Disney Vacation Club Resorts can be booked beginning 7 months from your desired check-in date. Transferring Vacation Points from one Membership to another will not change the permitted booking window. Only allotted Vacation Points for that specific Home Resort can be booked beginning the 11-month priority window.
Member Services has the ability to look at your specific account and give you the most up-to-date and accurate information on maximizing your Vacation Points. So, if they have told you the limitations of your Vacation Points, what they said is accurate.
I know this may not be what you had hoped to hear, Kyle. But, unfortunately, we don't have different information than what Member Services has, and they are truly the most knowledgeable when it comes to using your specific Membership as they have access to your account.
I hope you are able to book the vacation of your dreams. If we can help you any further, stop back and see us here and we will be happy to help you.
Magically Yours,
Keri
