Hi there. I understand that Disneyland is requiring visitors to be California residents through June 15th. Any idea what happens after June 15th

Hello there, Joseph! Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out and asking your excellent Disneyland Resort vacation question!

It’s a wonderful day to plan a visit to The Happiest Place on Earth! At long last, Disneyland Resort is beginning its phased reopening and we couldn't be more excited! At this time, Disneyland Resort is reopening with certain policies and procedures in place that prioritize the safety of all Guests. During upcoming visits, you may notice such changes as enhanced cleaning procedures across the property, temporary adjustments to promote physical distancing, and modified experiences to reduce contact. Guests ages two and up will also be required to wear a face-covering throughout their visit except when actively eating or drinking.

Beginning June 15th, 2021, Guests that are not California residents will also be able to visit both Disneyland Resort theme parks! This means, if you are wanting to plan your own trip to Disneyland Resort, you will be allowed to enter the theme parks beginning June 15th. There have been no further updates regarding other policies inside of the theme parks. If you are interested in keeping up with any other updates, you may do so by checking out either the Disney Parks Blog website or the “Theme Parks: Know Before You Go” webpage. Both of these resources contain all of the latest and greatest information regarding health and safety policies in the theme parks!

It is also important to keep in mind that all Guests will need a reservation before entering either theme park! These may now be made at the same time you purchase your theme park tickets. It is also strongly recommended that you check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar online prior to booking your stay. This way, you can verify availability on your anticipated travel dates!

Best of luck as you continue to plan your visit to Disneyland Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions as well!
