    I understand that there is a 5K on Castaway Cay. I love RunDisney and everything about it, but I have never read anything about this race. Can you please tell me how we can sign up? We are cruising in May on the Fantasy.

    Ahoy Holly!
    Welcome to the Moms Panel!  I'm also a RunDisney fan, and I'm looking forward to running my 3rd race, the WDW Marathon, next weekend!  The Castaway Cay 5K is usually held some time after 9:00am after the ship has been cleared, and Guests are free to disembark.  Sign-up is the morning of the race on the ship, and all the details will be listed in your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter.  Once you are signed up, you will receive an official RunDisney bib and will make your way to the Bike Rental location for the start.  The run is on a paved, flat path with several water stations along the way.  After you cross the finish line, you will be awarded a Mickey "Winner" medal, and a Finisher's Certificate will be delivered to your stateroom later that day.  There are Castaway Cay 5K shirts available for purchase at the shop right next to the start, but if you want one, I suggest purchasing it before the race and having the store hold it for you because some sizes do sell out quickly!
