Welcome, Eli! I'm so glad you've come to let us help with your question.
The best part of planning a
Walt Disney World vacation for me is planning our meals. I love checking out the menus and the different
dining experiences, trying to capture a meal that will add special memories to our family vacation.
You are correct that the booking window to make your
dining reservations starts 60 days prior to your arrival. The "extra days" that you're thinking about for guests of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels is an awesome perk. The way it works for resort guests is that when your 60-day window opens up, you can make dining reservations for the length of your vacation, up to 10 days. Guests staying off property can only reserve a day at a time since they can make reservations exactly 60 days from when they wish to dine.
This is a great chance to check out some brand new dining experiences, Eli. Feel like you're floating high above the earth - 220 miles to be exact - when you dine at
Space 220 Restaurant at EPCOT. It's an out-of-this-world dining experience. For something outside the parks,
Steakhouse 71 is a nostalgic trip to where it all began at Walt Disney World, and the menu features items inspired by some of Walt Disney's very favorite foods. Soooo good!
Have fun planning those meals, Eli! I hope the food adds to the fun of your upcoming vacation.
