Hi Patricia!
Thanks for bringing such a fun question to planDisney! I’m happy to share my opinions!
First up, Magic Kingdom. For me, the most underrated table service restaurant there, by far, is
Liberty Tree Tavern! It’s pretty easy to
snag a reservation, and the food is so delicious that even my boys were asking for seconds of green beans. Green beans! Plus, it serves one of the best desserts you’ll have on property.
Moving on to Epcot, the restaurant I keep going back to, even though I don’t hear it talked about often, is
San Angel Inn at the Mexico pavilion. I crave the ribeye tacos all the way from Ohio sometimes! Plus, I just love the whole vibe there.
An underrated restaurant that I haven’t tried yet (but it’s on my list!) is the
Biergarten at the Germany pavilion. I’ve heard the entertainment (subject to change) makes for such a fun environment!
Over at Hollywood Studios, I’d have to say that
Hollywood & Vine pleasantly surprised me! While it’s one of the easier character meals to get a reservation for, the character interactions were some of the best my boys have ever had.
I also feel like
Roundup Rodeo BBQ initially got some mixed reviews, but my family loved it so much that they still talk about it to this day! I’m a sides girl when it comes to my meal, and I loved every single side that was served with the meal. Plus, my boys got such a kick out of “turning into a toy” at the restaurant.
Finally, at Animal Kingdom,
Nomad Lounge is my winner for best underrated restaurant here! It’s good to note that you cannot make a reservation for this restaurant, as it’s walk-up only. I love to get there right when it opens for the day to keep my wait to a minimum. And I love relaxing on the comfy couches outside on a nice day.
I hope that gives you some guidance as you plan your Disney vacation! If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know. We’re always happy to help!
