Hiya, Michaela! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so sorry to hear that you're unable to visit
Walt Disney World Resort as you had originally planned. First, we're sending you a "warm hug" courtesy of our friend, Olaf. And second, I'm happy to let you know that when things take a not-so-magical turn, you have a few options available to you and the tickets you have purchased.
Michaela, if you have purchased a paperless ticket online,
you are welcome to reassign that ticket to another Guest so that they may use it. The only thing you'll have to do is make sure that this Guest is added to your Family & Friends List. To do this, log into your account online, hover your mouse over the
My Disney Experience tab, and click
My Family & Friends. Scroll down a bit and click "Add a Guest." From here, decide the best way to add this Guest to your account. The Guest will accept this invitation on their end and you'll be connected through your Family & Friends List. Once this is completed, you can reassign your ticket to this Guest! Head over to
My Plans, then toggle to Tickets & Memory Maker. Locate your theme park ticket, then select "Reassign Ticket" on the right-hand side. Ta-da!
However, you may feel as though you'd like to talk about more options directly with another person. Hakuna Matata! No worries! Cast Members are always happy to help with available options and the next steps you may take. If you'd like to
call a Cast Member, be sure to have all of your information handy, including your tickets and ID numbers.
Michaela, I hope that circumstances will allow you to visit Walt Disney World Resort again in the future. The magic will be ready and waiting for you.
Sending you all the faith, trust, and pixie dust!
Michelle
