Hi James,
Troubleshooting technology issues over the phone is difficult but through message might be even harder. I will do my best to help with your ticket issue, but if this does not help, feel free to reach back out or contact
My Disney Experience phone support directly for assistance.
Disney theme park tickets can be easily added to your wallet through the
Disney MagicMobile Service. To set up MagicMobile, log in to your
My Disney Experience app and select the 3-line “hamburger” icon (☰) in the bottom-right corner. After selecting this icon, you will see the Disney MagicMobile tile. Follow the instructions to set up your pass and add it to your wallet.
If this is where you are running into an issue, check to make sure that the ticket you are attempting to add belongs to you or is managed by you directly. If it is a ticket associated with someone else's account, they need to download it themselves. The good news is that once they download their MagicMobile pass, it can be shared with you as a backup system or so you can scan everyone in all at once.
Another potential issue preventing you from downloading your MagicMobile pass could be if you have not completely set up Apple Pay on your phone. Disney MagicMobile will be added to your phone as another form of payment in Apple Pay so it can not be downloaded unless Apple Pay is set up. To fix this open your Wallet on your phone and click "Get Started With Apple Pay" then follow the instructions to enable this feature on your phone. If Apple Pay is completely set up my next steps would be to confirm your Wallet has enough room for more payment methods and that 2-factor authentication is set up.
If you still can not solve the issue and do not want to call tech support, I recommend buying a
MagicBand+ and using it for your tickets, purchases, and Lighting Lanes. I prefer using a MagicBand+ to my cell phone because it keeps me immersed in the magic and with my nose out of my phone for the day!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
