Hi Susan!
Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so sorry to hear you've sustained an injury, as a runner I've been there and know how tough it can be!
For
Disney Princess Half Marathon in 2014, I injured myself a few weeks prior to the event. My doctor told me I wouldn't do any more damage by continuing to run, I'd just be uncomfortable, so I still completed the Half Marathon, I just took it easy and walked a majority of my time. I was glad I was still able to participate because unfortunately, runDisney registrations are completely non-refundable. I've also ran a race 5 months pregnant because I registered before I found out! I'm sorry to hear this has happened to you and I hope for a speedy recovery. I'd talk to your doctor about the potential of returning and though it may not be the race you envisioned, you'll still be able to take in all the magic.
I also want to let you know that registrations are non-transferable as well, so you cannot sell your bib to another participant. They wouldn't be able to pick up the bib and may result in both individuals being unable to participate in any future events, and I'd hate for that to happen!
Please let me know if you have any other questions and I'm sending lots of pixie dust your way!
