We were unable to pre-reserve Palo brunch for our cruise. (I know it is very popular). Can I ask to be put on a list if something opens up and where would I go to do this on on The Wonder this summer?

    Ahoy there, Candace,

It is so good to welcome you back aboard planDisney! Thank you for bringing your questions to us, as we love to help Guests like you create WONDERful Disney Cruise Line vacation memories.

Very soon you will be embarking on a cruise that is on my wish list! Everything that I have heard and seen about a Disney Cruise to Alaska sounds like perfection. And, you will enjoy all of the natural beauty aboard one of my favorite ships – the Disney Wonder!

Candace, the Palo Brunch is so scrumptious. And I can only imagine how magnificent Palo's sweeping 270-degree views will be during your cruise. So, let’s see if we can work some magic and get you that reservation

Now, brunch is typically offered from 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on your “At Sea” days, which means for your cruise you should have two days from which to select. So, my first piece of advice is to be flexible with your schedule so you will be available no matter which day might open up. One tip is to keep checking the Disney Cruise Line website. Plans for Guests change, and sometimes new reservations do pop up. My best tip is to open the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App as soon as you board the ship and locate the designated site and time for making Palo reservations (typically one of the lounges or main dining rooms). Head straight to that location and put your party on the waiting list. If there is an opening at that time you can jump for joy as the Cast Members let you know that your request can be accommodated. If there isn’t a reservation available at the moment but one opens up later, you will receive a call on your stateroom phone or you will find a note for you on your stateroom door. Candace, I’m wishing upon a star that your request will be accommodated!

Don’t forget to check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for opportunities for Character Greetings. A picture with Mickey in his rain gear or Minnie in her special Alaskan attire will make a jolly holiday card!

You are going to have a vacation filled with wonder, Candace! If you have any other questions, we would love to see you cruise back by planDisney again. Our Disney Cruise Line specialists, Tracie and Adrianna, have a bounty of tips and advice to share!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Shannon
