I am unable to link my digital park pass to my disney experience app. It says "unable to link". All I have to try with is the confirmation bar code ID that is in my confirmation email. Is that what I am supposed to use?

Hey there, Sally!  Welcome to planDisney!

I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble linking your theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account.  I'll be happy to help you troubleshoot and give you some of the tricks and tips that usually work for me.

First, I suggest looking to see if your tickets are already linked.  I know I have received that error message in the past when trying to link tickets, and because I was signed into my account at the time of purchase, the tickets "automagically" linked.  On the My Disney Experience website, go to "My Plans" and then "Tickets & Memory Maker".  On the My Disney Experience app, use the menu button in the lower right corner to select "Tickets and Passes".

If the tickets are not already linked, I recommended signing out of your account and closing the app or browser, and then relaunching it and signing in again.  Sometimes if I am experiencing a technical glitch, I will switch from using the website to the app or vice-versa.  I have also switched to an incognito browser window; that sometimes does the trick.

The ID number that you need to link your tickets can be found in your confirmation email.  Look for the Ticket Confirmation Number.  Another option would be to try scanning the bar code with your mobile device.  In the My Disney Experience app, use the menu button to select "Tickets and Passes" and select the blue plus button at the top.  Choose "Link Tickets & Passes" and then "Scan Code".

Sally, if after trying my suggestions you are still having difficulty linking your theme park tickets, give the My Disney Experience tech team a call at (407) 939-4357.  And a friendly reminder, at this time all Guests ages 3 and up will need a Disney Park Pass reservation in addition to valid admission in order to enter a theme park, so as soon as you get your tickets linked, be sure to go ahead and make your Disney Park Pass reservations.

Fingers crossed you will soon have everything sorted out!  Please stop by planDisney again with any additional questions you may have.  Enjoy your visit!
