Don't you love how amazing the Crew Members are? They truly make Disney cruises extra magical. I'm glad you are making plans before you set sail to offer your gratitude to them. You will be happy to know that since the
set gratuity amount is automatically charged to your onboard account, the Rotational Dining team will receive their gratuities even if you don't present the tip envelopes to them at dinner on the final night of your cruise. If you simply want to add to your gratuities for any or all of the dining team or your Stateroom Host, you can stop by
Guest Services and add an amount. The servers and host will automatically receive them, too.
If you plan to give above and beyond the standard amount or write a note of thanks to your servers, you can drop off the envelopes during your regular dining time and they will receive them. You can also take them to breakfast on your final morning if you plan to eat in the main dining rooms. You will be seated at the same table number and have your same serving team. More often than not, I wait until breakfast to give the team my envelopes.
Kara, I recommend bringing cash in small bills to add to tip envelopes or to offer to the Crew Member delivering
Room Service. Gratuities for things such as Senses Spa & Salon services, adult-exclusive dining, specialty beverages or food items not included in the cost of the cruise will be automatically added to the bill and appear on your onboard account. You can view your onboard account at any time during your cruise in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
