Hi Karen!
Welcome to planDisney! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question, and I hope I can help. Since I am navigating Disney websites multiple times per day between planning my own
Walt Disney World vacation and answering Guest questions here on planDisney, I also tend to run into some computer glitches. While they may or may not be caused by our favorite alien Stitch, they are definitely frustrating. But never fear, I have a few ideas that might help you!
First, of course, make sure you are using the correct username and password. If you aren’t sure that it is correct, you can always use the reset password option. If you are like me however, and have your password saved on your device so you are sure it is the correct one, I have a few other ideas.
Next, it seems that with Disney sites, you need to clear the cookies from time to time. While I am a nurse in real life and not a computer guru, and my preferred way to “clear cookies” is to eat a plate of chocolate chip, clearing cookies on my computer often seems to help.
But, I find this doesn’t always solve my problem. Even with clearing the cookies I’ll find the pages don’t want to load, or My Disney Experience keeps making me sign in again, and again, and again, and I can never get to My Plans. My next trick is to either use a different browser or open a “New Private Window.” This technique always solves my problem. As I am helping Guests like you by answering questions on planDisney today, I am having to use a private window to access My Disney Experience.
Karen, if none of these tricks solve your problem, and you’ve tried resetting your password, I would call the handy
Tech Support Cast Members for assistance. I hope you can get into your account soon!
Have a magical (Stitch-glitch free) day!
